Chad Davis - Chad Davis enters his eleventh season with Gainesville Juniors and his third as Executive Director after four seasons serving as the Director of Coaching. Coach Davis has guided nine teams to the USAV Nationals with two teams earning top ten in the nation, most recently the 2012 13 Black team finished 11th in the Nation in 2012. He has also coached two Open level teams for Gainesville Juniors in 2001 and 2010. His 2001 15 National team finished 9th in the Open Division, the highest finish for any Gainesville Juniors team. Coach Davis’s teams have won the Mid-East, Northeast, and Northern Lights Qualifiers. Coach Davis has guided three different high schools to the State Final Four (GHS, Chiles, Vanguard). During his time at Gainesville High School, GHS reached four consecutive State Final Fours and won the Class 5A State Championship in 2000. Coach Davis is CAP 1 certified.
Joe Deluca - Joe is entering his ninth year of coaching club volleyball and this is his seventh year with Gainesville Juniors. Joe has led seven teams to USAV Nationals earning two top ten finishes in 12 Club and 13 Club. Joe’s teams have won the Big South National Qualifier in 2006 and 2007. Joe is CAP 1 certified and was named the 2007 Gainesville Sun Coach of the Year for 1A through 3A classifications.
Booey Blassneck – Booey is in her first year coaching with Gainesville Juniors. She played Varsity volleyball at Lely High School for three years and was captain for two. Booey played club for four years at Naples Juniors and assists with their camps and clinics when she returns home, she also plays intramurals at the University of Florida.
Caroline Greene – Caroline has played volleyball for Pensacola Catholic High School, Volleyball Pensacola, North West Florida Volleyball, and High Performance and was offered a scholarship to the College of Notre Dame in Maryland. This is Caroline’s first season with Gainesville Juniors
Marshay Greenlee - Marshay played Division I Volleyball for the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. Marshay played high school volleyball at Gainesville High helping lead them to back to back district championships. Marshay played club volleyball for Gainesville Juniors. Marshay is currently the Head Coach at Ft. Clarke middle school. This is Marshay’s first season with Gainesville Juniors.
Donald Guynn - This is Donald's sixth year with Gainesville Juniors. Donald has served as the assistant varsity coach for Santa Fe High School for six seasons during that time he helped to lead the team to four back to back district championship and two elite eight appearances. Donald currently is the assistant coach at Buchholz High School.
Morgan Hauck – Morgan has played volleyball for nine years and has been coaching for six years. Morgan played college volleyball at Methodist University in Fayetteville North Carolina, and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. Morgan joined Gainesville Juniors in the fall of 2012 helping coach the 10’s and 12’s teams in mini-club, this is her first year with Gainesville Juniors.
Mark Lander – Mark is in his first year of coaching with Gainesville Juniors and has been involved in area youth volleyball for 4 years. He brings with him 6 years of coaching experience in youth sports programs in Alachua County.
Eric Marshall - Eric is the girls’ volleyball coach for High Springs Community School, his team won the 2012 Middle School Championship. Eric has been a part of volleyball for 25 years with 4 years of competitive beach volleyball after serving in the Marine Corps. This is Eric's third season coaching with Gainesville Juniors. He was a lead assistant for the 2011 12 Black team that qualified for USAV Nationals.
Rachel Ngom - This is Rachel's first year coaching with Gainesville Juniors. Rachel played volleyball for 10 years, playing club for Sports Performance Volleyball for 5 years. She played on the 18 elite team her senior year of high school and competed in China, with her team winning AAUs and the Junior Olympics. She was an All American at both tournaments. She went on to play for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a full athletic scholarship, where she was able to compete in Italy before suffering a career ending injury.
Paqui Peon - Paqui was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He played and coached volleyball at Miami Sunset Senior High. Paqui is the Varsity assistant coach at Santa Fe High School and enters his ninth year as a coach for Gainesville Juniors. Paqui has qualified one team for USAV Nationals and his team won the 2011 Big South National Qualifier.
Drew Schaeffer - Drew is in his fourth year with Gainesville Juniors. He is currently the Varsity Head Coach at West Port High School, where he led the school to its first ever District Championship in 2012. He helped lead Vanguard High School to the Class 4A Final Four in 2010. He also served as an assistant with the 2010 14 Black team which finished 22nd overall in the country.
Nicole Stout – Nicole played at Chiefland High School and received a scholarship to play at Mount Olive College. Nicole has coached at Chiefland High School and is now the Head Volleyball Coach at The Rock School. This is Nicole’s second year with Gainesville Juniors.
David Taylor – Dave has been playing volleyball for 18 years both indoor and beach. Dave played club volleyball in Orlando for 4 years and then played Club Volleyball at The University of Florida while attending school. Dave has qualified one team for USAV Nationals and his team won the Northern Lights Qualifier in 2012. This is Dave’s second season with Gainesville Juniors.
Callie Watkins –Callie played club volleyball in Tallahassee for 6 years and played at Leon High School. She helped lead her team to the 5A state championship for three consecutive years, and was also on the first and only team from Tallahassee to win the Big South National Qualifying tournament in Atlanta. Callie has been with Gainesville Juniors since September 2012
Michelle Weydert –Michelle played for Washington High School as an outside hitter but was recruited to play volleyball as a Libero at the University of Wyoming. Michelle has coached volleyball for 5 years. She started as a club coach in Laramie Wyoming for the Rocky Mountain Verticals, after college moved home to Washington State where she was the head Junior High Coach for Tacoma Baptist and also a club coach for Lake Tapps Volleyball Club. In Washington she played 2 years of Adult club placing first in the region April of 2012. This is her first year with Gainesville Juniors.
Andrew Whalen – Andrew played volleyball at Apopka High School and 4 years with the Orlando Gold Club Volleyball Team. He went to Pfeiffer University in North Carolina and played Division II college volleyball for one year. This is Andrew’s second season with Gainesville Juniors.
